    Job Description

    Hillebrand GORI is seeking talented, experienced inside sales representatives!

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establish and maintain business relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Prepare, follow up, and archive sales quotes.
    • Daily management of customer requests by deciding course of action.
    • Use Salesforce and JF Hillebrand proprietary software by entering quality information for analytical needs.
    • Work closely with all departments to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
    • Coordinate request for proposal (RFP) with overseas offices.
    • Prepare and analyze statistics to establish business development strategies.
    • Making phone calls to potential individual importers, freight forwarders, wholesalers using company-provided leads.
    • Reports to the sales manager regarding objective, planned activities, reviews, and analytics.
    • Knowledge of logistics industry is preferred, but not required.
    • Monitor, review, and respond to emails receive from any potential customers.
    • Follow up with potential customers to encourage new and referral business.
    • Steady work history and a commitment to start a new career.
    • Prior sales experience in any industry is required, sales experience in logistics industry is preferred.
    • Data entry.
    • Positive attitude and desire to succeed is required.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Strongly preferred: 5+ years in shipping / logistics / supply chain management industry.
    • Preferred: prior experience in Sales.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Preferred: experience using SalesForce.com.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
