JFH Distributing, Inc is a small industrial distributor specializing in sales of vacuum pumps, positive-displacement blowers, vane compressors, and associated process components.  We are seeking an Outside Technical Salesperson to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote, present, and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
• Prospect for, and create, new potential customers.
• Increase sales of existing product lines in assigned territory and specific markets.
• Process and follow-up customer inquiries, Principal leads.
• Generate quotes & solutions, and help process purchase orders.
• Travel to customer sites, Principal factories, trade shows/symposiums.
• Understand and interpret technical product data, process engineering applications, customer application requirments.
• Enough skills in math, chemistry, and physics needed to understand and interpret product data and customer applications.

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous successful experience in vacuum pump sales, blower sales, or compressor sales.
• Proficiency in MS Office platform, CRM platforms, professional presentations, videoconferencing, connectivity.
• Ability to create and maintain successful relationships with clients, Principals, and fellow employees.
• Strong selling and negotiation skills
• Both big-picture and detail-oriented.
