    Public Sector Experience – Government and State, Local & Education Services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs extensive proposal writing (RFP) and other collaterals (sales) information for customers. Develop scope projects, assemble a team to execute, manage projects, and performs business operations.
    • Execute sales strategy by identifying customer needs and selling the appropriate hardware/software, cloud, and company services.
    • Maintain a targeted understanding of customers’ business showing the ability to establish customer needs, buying cycles, and creating strong relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business.
    • Meet or exceed annual sales top-line revenue and margin goals as defined by management.
    • Drive profitably and grow revenue for target accounts in partnership with the inside sales team.
    • Develop business through multiple marketing and sales techniques including but not limited to cold calling, conducting in-person meetings, online, webinars, and partnering with vendors or manufacturers.
    • Carve and assist with strategy, solution-driven services, such as pricing and bundling of services.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operational, product/solution, and service delivery functions across all lines of business and drive the business delivery through innovation, expertise, creativity, and passion.
    • Manage individual sales objectives to include sales orders and billing activities to support quarterly goals.
    • Manage on-going customer account relationship, customer satisfaction issues, reviewing and signing of on bids, developing a winning pricing model.
    • Work with inside sales team to ensure that quotes are provided, and order requests are processed accurately and with the engineering team to accurately scope projects.
    • Manage past due invoice resolution with accounting to ensure proper collections.
    • Develop and maintain solid business relationships within the various decision-makers and influencers at all levels at each target account.
    • Develop & execute marketing and business plans to drive revenue and profits.
    • Work with leadership, advance company initiative, lead and mentor new and existing junior employees to enhance overall strategic objectives.

    Qualification

    • Prior experience selling technology solutions from Microsoft, AWS, AZURE. Cisco, VMWare, EMC, GreenLake/HPE, Aruba, Citrix, or other strategic partners is preferred.
    • 5+ years of outside technology sales experience (customer-facing) with the ability to demonstrate existing business relationships in the local market.
    • Ability to reach expected sales quota the first 90 and 180 days of employment leveraging existing vendor and customer contacts, as well as previous experience and track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
    • Outstanding communication, organizational, and writing skills.
    • Ability to discern and describe value proposition and differentiators unique to client circumstances and put together a solution/proposal.
    • Proven track record in developing relationships with customers and vendors, and the ability to translate client business needs into solutions. Ability to partake in business operations (SOWs, staffing, recruiting, utilization)
    • Proven ability to recognize, understand and manage opportunities for process and service improvement
    • A solid technical conceptual foundation within IT Infrastructure and the ability to work with technical leads to develop solution concepts, drive solutions, design, and deployment of new service offerings.
    • Proven track record of implementing and leading services delivery improvements
    • Understanding of basic P&L and financial management around profitability.
    • Extremely detail orientated is a must
    • Sets and manages priorities and expectations effectively and the ability to supervise, mentor, and lead teams.
    • Have a complete understanding of all relevant business systems, components, and processes and how they support business operations (resource utilization, system costs, operating expenses, and operating income).
    • Takes ownership of the resolution of complex issues while ensuring quality control for established business operations process flows.
