JLG LAWYERS SEEKS ASSOCIATE EMPLOYMENT ATTORNEY IN GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA OFFICE
JLG is seeking an associate labor and employment attorney. We operate a highly collaborative law practice in which attorneys work in teams to ensure all of our clients receive the best possible service. Our current team consist of four attorneys and 7 support staff. Recent exponential growth has created the opportunity for a motivated candidate to add to our successful labor & employment department and manage our current full load of cases in progress.
The attorney will be tasked with management of cases from pre-litigation through settlement, with the support of a strong staff and advanced automated systems that optimize case efficiency. Chosen candidate will work closely with firm’s senior attorneys, to help scale the firm’s employment practice, to service the ever-growing number of Californians who have been illegally discriminated against, harassed, unfairly compensated, subjected to an unfair hostile work environment and/or wrongfully terminated.
Responsibilities
· Management of cases from pre-litigation through settlement
· Deposition Experience
· Experience with employment disputes to include wrongful terminations, FEHA claims, PAGA and wage and hour claims
· Manage legal staff
· Mediation and Arbitration experience
· Advise clients and manage their expectations
· Ability to handle a high case load
Qualifications
· Admittance to the state bar required
· 5+ years' experience as a practicing labor and employment
· 5 years’ experience managing legal staff
· Have a minimum for 5 years of employment experience

Job Type: Full-time (50+ hours per week)
Pay: $100-1500,000.00 base salary per year, with objective hours bonus and discretionary bonus based on performance and results
