Justice and Sustainability Associates (JSA) Graduate Internship Program offers energetic students practical experience in a fast-paced professional management consulting environment. Interns will gain insight via JSA's mission-driven practices: Transportation & Infrastructure, Planning & Development, Sustainability & Resilience, Organizational Development , Open Space & Recreation, Governance , and History & Conciliation.
You will...
- observe community development conflict management from surfacing to mapping to resolution
- collaborate with project leaders managing teams with budgets and schedules
- participate in project and stakeholder meetings
- undertake a practical corporate assignment
- present a class for Justice and Sustainability University (JSU)
Profile
- enrolled graduate student
- critical and analytical thinking and planning skills
- able to identify/articulate themes during project meetings
- organized and attentive to details
- flexible and able to pivot seamlessly when project directions change
- advanced research skills
- advanced administrative and logistical skills.
- cultural competence and confidence
- available 5-10 hours per week for 10 weeks
Requirements
- experience using Microsoft Office Suite, e.g., Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
- experience using Zoom, WebEx, and other similar platforms
Compensation
- Up to five (5) graduate interns will be paid $21.00 per hour.
- No insurance or other benefits are provided to interns
