JLP Builders is currently looking for a Sales Trainee. This candidate will provide administrative support to the sales team, provide exceptional customer service, and become an intricate component of our progressive team environment. The goal of this role is to grow into a custom home sales professional. The employee reports directly to the Sales Manager. Job Responsibilities ● Answer phone calls from prospective clients and realtors ● Log information into Builder Trend CRM ● Schedule appointments for Sales Professionals and prospective clients ● Create and maintain various reports ● Personal and company marketing ● Responsible for client's satisfaction ● Assist Sales Professionals in the writing of new contracts ● Update the CRM on Builder Trend ● Occupy model home on a part-time schedule ● Assist Sales Professionals and the Director of Sales on daily sales and customer service tasks to learn the JLP way ● Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends. ● Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and President Qualification and Skill Requirements ● College degree preferred but not required. ● Builder Trend experience preferred not required. ● Highly proficient in Microsoft Office. ● Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. ● Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and deliver timely and positive results. ● Visibility of work requires attention to detail, including the ability to edit work for spelling, and grammar, with a high level of accuracy. ● Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional image at all items. ● Ability to enter data and evaluate information. ● Must be effective at giving and receiving feedback. ● Effective working in a team situation as well as independently. ● Accurate with attention to detail while staying clearly focused on the big picture. ● Highly organized and able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
