RESPONSIBILITIES

JMG International, Inc. is looking for a Director of Marketing and Retail Operations professional who enjoys working with both manufacturers and customers in a creative and organized manner. The position is in-person in a casual office environment. Experience in the premium cigar industry is preferred, however not necessary.

The successful candidate will work closely with the President of the company to accomplish the following:

• Market products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns.
• Track sales data, maintain promotional materials inventory, plan meetings, maintain databases, and prepare reports.
• Implement marketing and advertising campaigns; plan and prepare marketing and advertising strategies, create promotional materials, and update calendars.
• Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating with manufacturers, printers, and sales staff.
• Support sales by providing new product information to both the sales staff and customers.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven working experience in digital and print marketing
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing email campaigns, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
• Strong customer service background
• This is a full-time (40 hours per week), in-office position. Working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
• All office and sales staff have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 which is a company requirement.
