- Job Title: Logistics Specialist (7759-3): Analyst, Global Logistics Operations

- Job Summary
- The position ensures the best in class execution for Samsung – Global Logistics operations
- Responsible for the execution of daily Inbound Logistics operations & reporting
- This role will ensure that shipments are delivered to internal customers without delays
- This role will actively tracking Inbound Logistics shipments & work with 3PLs to manage exceptions

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have track record and ability to maintain positive team dynamics
- Assist 3PL in the daily execution and management of Logistics operations activity
- Track and trace shipments daily and proactively to avoid any delays
- Support business departments on urgent shipments and new-launch models
- Ensure quick and precise system execution for the delivery of Samsung products
- Coordinate and execute special projects and additional services as requested
- Support inter-department projects/activities as determined necessary
- Work proactively with 3PL's to ensure continuous support
- Assist internal partners on critical shipments and non-standard requests
- Follow processes in full compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory guidelines
- Complete all other duties as assigned
BG/SKILLS
- Minimum 1-2 years of directly related experience is required
- Undergrad in Business or Supply Chain Management
- Prior experience in Global Logistics operations a plus
- High-Tech supply chain and/or logistics experience
- Well versed analytical skills
- Good social and team working skills
- Proficient ability in working within Excel & Access
- Strong analytical skills. Must be able aggregate and interpret complex datasets and simply summarize for internal stakeholders.
- Works closely with team members
- Experience working simultaneously with various cultures preferred
- Ability to work accuracy and reliability
- Ability to communicate status updates in writing, through email, or orally
- Ability to clearly define objectives, identify tasks and work assignments based upon training
