REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES

• 3+ years of experience with 3PL / domestic transportation or Supply Chain management degree
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, and active listening
• Able to give attention to detail; identify standard problems, escalate, and make recommendations
• Advance knowledge and high proficiency using PC based applications, specifically Excel
• System knowledge of SAP and TMS preferred
• Strong time management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up
• Ability to complete tasks and solve problems with limited guidance and direction
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to learn
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills
• Ability to support seasonal weekend and overtime requirements per customer schedules

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The IOD Team Operations assistant works as part of a team providing logistics functions for Samsung customer. The position will oversee Information on Delivery (IOD) & proof of delivery (POD) collection regional 3PL territories for daily operations. Expectations include, but are not limited to Ensuring the quality of all services provided meets the requirement standards. This position is responsible for the logistics cycle for all consumer/ non-consumer shipments, including tracking, customer delivery, returns/claims, POD verification, and escalations. Required to work within logistics operations to support the new business as it develops.

• Maintain above 99.8% on time IOD collection (within one business day from delivery)
• Work with multiple divisions throughout the supply chain, customer service, transportation and third party teams meeting all key performance indicators and customer expectations with in the final mile operations
• Prepare and update standard operating procedures for documenting department activities
• Create dynamic reporting for key measurable and performance tracking
• Identify process improvements with attention to detail
• Various systems management (internal and external) to accomplish daily/weekly/monthly tasks
• Proficiently manage multiple tasks/projects while staying organized in day to day activities
• Documenting and data collection for supporting departments/activities
• Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies in selection of methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Download daily snapshots from transportation management system (TMS) for analysis and action
• Maintain daily communications with carriers to ensure on time deliveries
• Identify trends and issues that can adversely effect on time IOD/POD collection
• In depth understanding of our process for carrier education purposes
• In depth understanding of logistics industry's standards and best practices
