    Summary:

    The main function of a quality engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards. A typical quality engineer has the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards. ****

    **Responsibilities
    **

    The Primary role for OS Members is as follows:

    • Ensuring the sample devices are available for MQL members to perform their daily tasks.
    • Working on-site in the sample room to check-in and check-out the requested sample devices for MQL members.
    • Implementing an inventory tracking system to accurately monitor sample devices.
    • Conducting full sample room audits on a continuous basis.
    • Monitoring and disposing of aging or damaged sample devices.
    • Preparing and documenting transfers, deliveries and shipments.
    • Understanding MQL teams' roles and responsibilities to provide each requestor with accurate samples.
    • Working closely with Sample Managers in other locations for continued support and inventory on a need-be basis.
    • Utilizing and reorganizing the sample room to label and stock incoming sample devices.
    • Evaluating, tracking, and communicating with MQL teams to plan for upcoming devices.
    • Acquiring an extensive knowledge of the mobile handset products.
    • Providing support and recommendations to MQL members on device assignment and find solutions if there is a shortage of devices.
    • Ensuring that good working practices are applied in the sample room for device security.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Inventory management and materials management experience preferred
    • Preferred 1-3 years Inventory management and materials management experience
