Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Technical Architect INDUSTRY: Government Contracting LOCATION: Vienna, VA HOURS: 9am to 5pm
TECHNICAL ARCHITECT POSITION SUMMARY: Our client is looking for a talented and innovative Technical Architect to play a key role in guiding the direction of our application development team. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with talented developers to design, build and evolve applications. The ideal candidate will act as primary technical interface with our clients, working with them to understand their technology environment and design & develop innovative solutions to meet their needs. Additionally, you will lead and mentor the technical team and work closely with our Business Analyst to understand and refine the product backlog and assist in the Agile ceremonies.
TECHNICAL ARCHITECT REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years as a development team lead responsible for leading and guiding a project using Agile processes
Responsible for the architecture and implementing long-term goals of a product roadmap
Experience with Java Server Pages, Spring Boot and Hibernate in an Oracle WebLogic environment
Experience with Oracle databases and developing and troubleshooting SQL queries
Strong communication skills and interfacing directly with customers
Experience with Oracle UCM server and Angular a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline
10+ years of Java development experience
TECHNICAL ARCHITECT SALARY: 65 per hour and 130000 to 140000 upon conversion
