    JourneyTEAM is looking for a Solutions Architect to join our CRM team.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    General

    • Define task requirements, scope, and business objectives, keep project within time, budget, and in collaboration with the Project Lead and/or Project Manager.
    • Being comfortable presenting solution architecture and design to varying stakeholder types (C Suite, IT, End Users).
    • Collaborating with cross functional teams and practices
    • Innovate and invite a “best-practice” culture in method, tools, and approach for project work and solutions for the client
    • Ensure that solution architecture is scalable to meet current and future business objectives
    • Architect project solution for the client and internal project team
    • Delegate and assign tasks to team members
    • Provide training and technical support to end users
    • Communicate with stakeholders, customers, and project team
    • Ability to lead a client facing discussion
    • Know how to read the audience well and know how to respond and adapt
    • Listen to understand
    • Be comfortable mentoring team members and teaching new skills
    • Understand software design and implementation best practices
    • Be accountable to the client and to JourneyTEAM for commitments

    CRM

    • In-depth knowledge of the Dynamics CRM platform, all modules/custom applications (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, Power Platform, Project Operations, and Power Pages), its architecture, and associated technologies.

    • Ensuring quality data integration between CRM and other 3rd party systems

    • Customization and configuration capabilities of Dynamics CRM to tailor the system to the organization's specific needs.

    • Ensuring quality data integration between CRM and other 3rd party systems

    • Customization and configuration capabilities of Dynamics CRM to tailor the system to the organization's specific needs.

    • Assessing technical feasibility, recommending best practices, and ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of Dynamics CRM.

    • Technical understanding of low-code, and code options for extending the capabilities of the platform and to recommend best technologies/tools for solutions.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    General

    • Extremely comfortable in D365 or M365, and Power Platform configuration, setup, add-ons, and functionality.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (Epic, Feature, User Story, Task Breakdowns).
    • Able to learn complex products and testing methodologies.
    • Experience leading/participating in software development teams.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred (i.e., computer science, information science, or management information science (MIS)) or equivalent experience.

    CRM

    • Has worked with a variety of project types (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service)
    • Deep D365 Customer Engagement (CRM) Sales experience and familiarity with core features
    • Advanced knowledge of at least 5 of the following applications or technologies:
    • Marketing
    • Customer Service
    • Project Operations
    • Field Service
    • Project Service Automation
    • Power Apps Portal
    • Power Automate
    • Customer Insights
    • Customer Voice
    • Integrations Architecture (to systems outside of D365)

    What Success Looks Like After:

    30 Days:

    • Read and review “The Ideal Team Player” by Patrick Lencioni
    • Shadow other CRM Consultants/Architects to learn the implementation process and tasks required throughout our projects
    • Be assigned to a project and contribute to design, architecture, and support tasks to begin hands-on learning of the system

    6 months:

    • Fully involved in the project, support efforts, and be a contributing member of project teams and practice teams
    • Participate in the JourneyTEAM Soft skills course taught to all consultants to learn the “JourneyTEAM way”
    • Achieve an 75% customer engagement rate by the beginning of the six-month period

    1 Year:

    • Continue to achieve an 75% customer engagement rate
    • Be certified in 3 Dynamics CRM and Power Platform certifications (Incl. Pl-200 Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant, and PL-600 Microsoft Po)
    • Depending on interest, begin to learn and apply technical solutions to issues that may include writing reports, performing integrations, utilizing Power BI, etc.
