Job Description
- Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee annual capital budgets, including cost estimation and schedules.
- Batch processing experience is a plus
- Process experience in specialty chemicals is key
- Manage project installations and provide regular progress updates.
- Drive initiatives to optimize plant operations and improve manufacturing processes.
- Must have PSM experience
- Lead projects to enhance plant infrastructure and increase efficiency.
- Implement projects aimed at reducing costs, improving yields, and minimizing waste.
- Provide technical support for new process/product development.
- Collaborate with external engineering firms as needed.
- Train staff on new technologies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System and regulatory standards.
- Support Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Maintain technical and engineering standards for the plant.
Requirements:- 3+ years leading teams (direct reports)
- 5+ years leading projects
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in chemical process industry project management.
- 5 years of engineering management experience.
- Track record of managing capital projects and budgets.
