Job Title: Sr Process Specialist- Welding

Position Responsibilities:
In this role, you will act as a vital link between customers, application sales managers, regional sales managers, and Headquarters, facilitating the resolution of technical matters related to equipment issues, selection, and enhancements. Welding knowledge and experience is a must. Robotics experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in four to five major application market segments.
- Support sales efforts through effective demonstrations of complex product/processes, including feasibility evaluation, project execution, and follow-up.
- Develop expertise in all customer products within your focus area.
- Maintain and update the demo lab with current product and technology.
- Lead evaluation of vendor products, ensuring specifications are met, and coordinate logistics.
- Prepare technical materials and presentations for clients, internal teams, and Integrators/OEMs.
- Lead internal training classes on new functions to drive continuous improvement.
- Submit technical papers and reports for journals and industry trade shows.
- Provide in-house and on-site programming/process support for specialized applications and complex problems.
- Act as an internal consultant on matters related to process technology and product/system applications.
- Perform and document customer demonstrations.
- Support trade show efforts by defining content and coordinating technical resources.
- Travel 15-25%, requiring a valid driver's license and full coverage automobile insurance.
- Support Product Development by providing technical input for specifications.
- Establish procedures to guide technical personnel in specification restrictions, material processes, and material selection.
- Adhere to corporate and department ISO policies and procedures to maintain quality standards.
- Ability to direct team efforts to resolve complex technical issues, work well under pressure, and coordinate departmental assignments.
Qualifications:
- Associate of Science degree and six years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in programming and process expertise related to robotic/automated equipment.
- Familiarity with computer-assisted drafting (CAD) tools such as Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions within established policies, and use ERP systems and tools.
