    Job Title: Subcontract Analyst

    Type of Hire: Full-Time / Direct Placement

    Location: Cambridge, MA or Reston, VA

    Salary: $80k to $95k with full-time benefits

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontract Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subcontract management, including solicitation, analysis, creation, negotiation, award, and post-award responsibilities. This role will involve supporting both U.S. Government and Commercial Contracts, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing subcontractor relationships.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform subcontract management functions in support of U.S. Government and Commercial Contracts
    • Solicit subcontractors, supporting various award types, and take a lead role in fact-finding, proposal analysis, and risk assessment with guidance from peers
    • Manage tactical and strategic aspects of subcontract relationships, including interface with technical and contract organizations such as Program Management, Program Office, and Contracts
    • Issue modifications, solicit Engineering Change Proposals, and issue Stop Work Orders
    • Serve as the focal point for subcontractor performance, including RFP generation, delivery, payments, and all contractual terms; Purchase order placement and maintenance; Subcontract performance monitoring, and completion assessments
    • Develop sound business cases and analyze data
    • Communicate clearly with strong writing skills, proactive in a fast-paced environment, flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough, and drive tasks to completion

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of experience or High School diploma/equivalent with 5 years of experience in subcontracts management, contracts management, procurement, proposal price/cost analysis, strategic sourcing, and/or industry-related areas
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience creating, negotiating, and awarding both fixed-price and cost-type subcontracts
    • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
    • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including willingness to interact directly with subcontractors
    • Experience soliciting, evaluating, and documenting cost and price proposals
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to learn and effectively apply new tools, processes, and procedures
    • Security Clearance, preferred
