    GFEBS / GIS ADMINISTRATION/ ANALYST FT. IRWIN / BARTOW, CA JPS Engineering Corp offers our clients full-spectrum engineering services designed to meet the critical requirements of US military organizations. Our experienced personnel understands the exacting requirements of military programs from design and development to fielding and implementation. Our services include Requirements Analysis, Software, and Hardware Design and Development, Test and Evaluation, Information Technology, Configuration Management, and system life cycle support.

     

    We are currently seeking a highly qualified IT Specialist to support a contract effort located at Ft. Irwin, Ca. This position is pending award notification. The position is contingent upon the successful award of contract. Employment at JPS Engineering Corp is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check, security investigation, and a drug screening test.

     

    GFEBS ADMINISTRATION/ ANALYST FT. IRWIN / BARTOW, CA Must have security clearance

     

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Provide professional support and services for the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). · Review, analyze, and interpret various GFEBS financial documents and reports, against established financial metrics. · Provide on-site GFEBS support for daily business operations and outlining GFEBS processes. · Pull daily Status of Funds Report for Funds Center(s) in ERP and BI warehouse and report to assigned management. · Pull daily IDOC Interface Errors Reports for outside interface systems as needed; to include SPS; LMP; FCM; AXOL; ATAAPS; and DCPS. · Creating and providing training documents to budget analysts as needed. · Troubleshooting GFEBS problem areas to find solutions and temporary workarounds. · Provide one-on-one assistance to budget analyst for daily business operations. · Assisting all analysts in learning how to navigate and perform transactions successfully in GFEBS. · Posting manual obligations for Purchase Requisitions that did not interface successfully into GFEBS. · Creating/updating Work Breakdown Structures, Sales Orders, Purchase Requisitions, FMY/FMZ documents in GFEBS. · Reconciling bi-weekly labor variances to ensure cost allocation is accurate. · Updating employee records in HRMM. · Ensuring obligations are posted from outside interface systems. (i.e. SPS, LMP, AXOL, DTS) · Researching, correcting and reprocessing failed IDOCs. · Researching Unmatched Transactions (UMTs) to include Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs) and Unmatched Collections (UMCs) and working with DFAS to have items posted to the accurate LOA's. KEY TASKS:

    · Lead Periodic metrics data reporting · Generate financial data input into leadership level reports · Establish and refine automated dashboard reporting of financial data · Train GFEBS processes to government staff · Complete analysis of Unmatched Transactions · Develop GFEBS CO Automated Processes BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: · Required: Minimum Undergraduate Degree from an accredited University/College · In-depth knowledge of GFEBS with knowledge of Army accounting processes and legacy accounting systems. · Ability to analyze BI/ECC data into useful information for tracking financial operations. · General knowledge of Army financial management planning processes. · Working knowledge of DFAS processes and financial reports
