    Are you ready to take the driver's seat in designing the roads of the future? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Designer to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis. As a Road Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the infrastructure that keeps our communities connected and moving forward.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Design and Engineering: Develop and prepare detailed engineering drawings for road and culvert projects using cutting-edge tools such as Microstation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and InRoads.
    • Quantity and Cost Estimates: Perform accurate quantity and cost estimate calculations to ensure project feasibility and success.
    • Project Management: Assist in developing project scope, schedule, and budgets for new projects. Contribute to proposal development and provide valuable insights to project planning.
    • Client Relations: Handle client relations as needed, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance reviews of road designs completed by others to maintain high standards of excellence.

     

    Qualifications:


    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
    • License: Professional Engineer (PE) license is a must.

     

    Experience:

    • 8+ Years: Significant experience (8 years or more) in road design projects for clients including INDOT, County DOT’s, and local municipalities.

     

    Skills:

     

     

    • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InRoads, and MS Office.
