Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering: Develop and prepare detailed engineering drawings for road and culvert projects using cutting-edge tools such as Microstation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and InRoads.
- Quantity and Cost Estimates: Perform accurate quantity and cost estimate calculations to ensure project feasibility and success.
- Project Management: Assist in developing project scope, schedule, and budgets for new projects. Contribute to proposal development and provide valuable insights to project planning.
- Client Relations: Handle client relations as needed, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance reviews of road designs completed by others to maintain high standards of excellence.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- License: Professional Engineer (PE) license is a must.
Experience:
- 8+ Years: Significant experience (8 years or more) in road design projects for clients including INDOT, County DOT’s, and local municipalities.
Skills:
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InRoads, and MS Office.
