Duties and Responsibilities: · Under the direction of senior level staff, help to ensure the client's vision, goals, and objectives are understood by all team members and consultants.
· Gain increasing responsibility to provide leadership for team members and consultants and mentor junior staff.
· Assume increasing responsibility for managing the coordination and relationship with project consultants.
· In coordination with team members and project consultants, continue to gain increasing responsibility for ensuring the technical quality, organization, and content of project documents.
· In coordination with other team members, begin to actively participate in design and ensure that design goals are met and maintained throughout the project.
· Working with senior level staff, implement design requirements throughout documentation and construction.
· Responsible for design integration of a specific piece (or pieces) of the project.
· Conduct weekly internal project team meetings in the absence of senior level staff.
· Assist Project Architect and Project Manager with periodic team debriefings and communicate lessons learned through project feedback process.
· Lead technical and consultant meetings.
· Manage the integrated design process and incorporate sustainable principles in all planning and design decisions. Coordinate LEED requirements with documents and specifications.
· Begin to provide input to the Project Manager to help determine the skills required to execute the project during project start-up phase.
· May assist the Project Architect in coordinating the developmental needs of the project staff (i.e. AXP requirements) with the needs of the project.
· Responsible to ensure the project is staffed properly and communicate necessary requirements to Project Manager and operations during project implementation phase.
· Understand the goals and expectations in developing project fees, contract language, scheduling, budget, and profitability.
· Communicate and document project closeout along with the Project Manager and Construction Administrators.
· Begin to demonstrate refined organizational skills through ability to work on projects, perhaps acting in different roles, depending on the project size and complexity, all within established time frames.
· May act as Revit coordinator, depending on project size.
· Schedule meetings with product representatives as needed for projects.
· Research materials, means, methods and appropriateness, and make recommendations. Aid in the specification process by utilizing the electronic specification database.
· May write specifications based on project needs.
· Continue to assist with project cut book preparation and ensure project planning and documents are in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.

· Work with senior level staff to ensure relationships with clients to build and maintain long-term contacts.
· Coordinate responses to client questions and concerns.
· Based on needs of project, be a resource for the Project Architect I and Construction Administration department by assisting with questions related to project intent or other complex issues.
· Responsible for the review of shop drawings, RFIs, CBs. Also responsible for project meetings and relationship with Construction Administrator.
· Answer questions related to project intent or other complex issues.
· Begin to learn the elements of the marketing interview by attending presentations.
· Assist in preparing marketing materials as requested.
· Assist in the development of client business strategies regarding future work.
· Continue to assist in the archival of project documents at the end of each phase.
· Assist Human Resources with the recruiting process by providing leads and participating in interviews. Develop and maintain relationships with applicable colleges/universities.
· Stay current with business practices, building trends, code issues, green design/products, and planning standards, etc. by attending vendor seminars, industry conferences/seminars and/or involvement with appropriate organizations.
