As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team and oversee maintenance activities within our facility.

     

    Position Overview:

    Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of maintenance operations at the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with expertise in carpentry, plumbing, and managing preventative maintenance programs. This role will involve supervising a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the efficient operation of all equipment and facilities.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment and facilities.

    Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and upgrades, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

    Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.

    Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and address issues proactively.

    Oversee the planning and execution of major maintenance projects, including equipment installations, renovations, and facility improvements.

    Manage inventory and supplies for maintenance activities, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement practices.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to support operational goals and initiatives.

    Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among maintenance staff.

    Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

    Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to support maintenance operations and obtain necessary resources and services.

    Qualifications:

     

    Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.

    Strong technical skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment maintenance.

    Proven experience managing a preventative maintenance program, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.

    Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of maintenance technicians.

    Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices relevant to maintenance operations, with a commitment to promoting a safe work environment.

    Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

    Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.

    Experience with maintenance management software systems (CMMS) preferred.

    Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to support maintenance activities and respond to emergencies.
