Responsibilities: • Managing, strategizing, and organizing all case files with a limited caseload. • Supervising support staff who assist with caseload, ensuring that all cases in the litigation department are on track and moving forward. • Maintaining regular communication with clients and opposing counsel. • Writing and reviewing legal correspondence. • Creating legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. • Responding to written discovery and opposing motions. • Conducting and defending depositions. • Attending court hearings. • Preparing for trials and participating in them. • Achieving firm targets and benchmarks. Qualifications: • Must be licensed to practice law in California and be in good standing with the California State Bar.Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a practicing litigator in California. • Experience in employment law is strongly preferred, but not strictly necessary. If you have a solid foundation in litigation, we can provide extensive training in the area of employment. • Strong legal writing skills and an eye for accuracy and detail. • We seek someone who is passionate about advocating for employee rights, as California prioritizes this aspect of law. • The successful applicant will play a crucial role in our firm's success, requiring dedication, motivation, and the ability to take initiative. Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000
