    Job Description

    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    JS Sullivan Development is looking for a Project Coordinator (PC) to join our dynamic Field Team. The position is immediately available and offers opportunities for advancement and career longevity.     The role reports directly to the Senior Project Engineer and will assist and support all aspects of field operations, The PC is responsible for the primary communication of drawings and information between the job site/field and the home office. The PC will support the project management process by performing tasks such as processing shop drawings, handling the workflow of RFI’s, document control, change management, and other related activities. The PC will have excellent organization and communication skills, ensuring that all tasks are communicated thoroughly, completed accurately, and delivered in a timely manner.

    This position is full-time, field-office/job-site, with COVID-19 Health Safety operations in effect.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate, update, and maintain a variety of project controls that track the status of construction progress, individual tasks, related changes, RFI’s, shop drawings submittals, and close-out among others
    • Work with subject matter experts to create, review and process shop drawings and other submittals that are required to document the construction process
    • Proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions
    • Provide direct and productive communications as the point of contact with the Project Engineer at the home office
    • Support the change management process by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, tracking change orders, and other related activities
    • Maintain and regularly coordinate reports utilizing Plangrid and working in partnership with the Senior Project Engineer
    • Additional duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

    • 1-3 years minimum experience in construction administration or hands-on construction experience
    • Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP plans required
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Proficiency with Project Management Software Platforms, Plangrid preferred
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Establish and maintain positive working relationships
    • Work flexibly, proactively, and collaboratively, asking pertinent questions, and meeting or exceeding goals, objectives, and deadlines
    • Prioritize and assess situations to determine importance and urgency and make clear decisions accordingly
    • Take pride in the details of the task at hand, executing all assignments with accuracy and precision
