JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Database Administrator, you will provide Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), Reliability, Availability, & Maintainability - Cost (RAM-C) Implementation and Production and Procurement Database administration and management support for multiple Naval weapon systems. Support will include data updates, evaluation, cleanse, review, failure data de-confliction, manual updates, configuration control, and other data management duties. You will also get to develop and maintain reporting and dashboard solutions for database users. Additional duties will include:

• Work with and respond to user questions and technical support for effective and efficient operation of the database and processes.
• Evaluate and recommend changes to Failure Data metrics to better support multiple users.
• Participate and provide recommendations for processing and data management changes to the Configuration Control Board (CCB) evaluation and provide written summation of evaluated recommendations back to the CCB.
• Collect and develop trend-metrics reporting solutions to support RAM-C community.
• Support Database Administrator and the Reliability Engineer in reviewing and modifying Integrated Failure Data (IFD).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Active U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in technical data management, problem solving techniques, performance of detailed analysis, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, SQL and JavaScript

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred educational requirements
• Knowledge and experience in Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Knowledge of JIRA/Wiki Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance.
