    JSM is a growing local property management company hiring a full-time Human Resources Administrator to join our team located in Champaign, IL. We are looking for someone with a passion for HR Administration and someone who would like to contribute to the success of a growing organization.

    What you’ll do

    Under supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Administrator facilitates and completes various human resource functions. The essential functions for this position are outlined below:

    • Coordinate recruitment and hiring efforts across the organization. Includes: creating job postings, job fairs, reviewing applications, scheduling, and conducting interviews.
    • Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding process
    • Facilitate pre-employment and background checks and employment verifications
    • Assist with I-9 and E-Verify compliance, including inspecting supporting documents and managing E-Verify cases
    • Maintain and update various human resources software systems (time tracking, applicant tracking, etc.).
    • Support employee termination procedures and policies, as assigned
    • Facilitate current and new employee recognition strategies and events
    • Assist with the employee performance review process
    • Coordinate JSM uniform and apparel purchasing
    • Maintain accurate and organized Human Resources records and files
    • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of HR reports, metrics, and data for management review
    • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and employee inquiries
    • Assist with inquiries from employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and general HR-related questions

    Minimum Requirements

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or another relevant field of study
    • 2 years of professional Human Resources experience
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
