    JSM Living is a local property management company committed to providing exceptional living experiences for our tenants. We are seeking a dedicated Operations Administrator to join our team.     What You’ll Do

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming maintenance calls from tenants. Promptly addressing requests, provide basic troubleshooting, and dispatch emergency maintenance calls.
    • Act as the liaison between Operations and Residential leasing regarding maintenance requests, pest control, turnover and other tenant concerns
    • Responsible for submitting maintenance requests on behalf of tenants, ensuring timely follow up communication
    • Monitor and resolve escalated maintenance issues
    • Prepare tenant notices regarding maintenance issues, pest management, and other related projects
    • Manage pest control requests and scheduling for commercial and residential properties
    • Monitor maintenance requests for back charges and prepare back charge and maintenance fee notices to be delivered to tenants
    • Main point of contact for all Emotion Support Animal related inquiries including authorization and records management
    • Oversight of JSM’s Fitness and Student centers
    • Assist Chief Operating Officer with waste management and recycling administration
    • Support various departments with urgent projects and tenant communications
    • Assist Operations Coordinator with turnover-related projects throughout the year
    • Provide support during turnover season for both Operations and Leasing staff
    • Provide administrative support to the Chief Operating Offer and Operations Supervisors

    What you’ll bring

    • 2 years of relevant experience in project management, office administration, and/or property management
    • Associate’s degree or equivalent in project, construction, or property management
    • Strong project management and customer service skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office and property management software and tools. Experience with Entrata a plus.
    • Valid driver’s license is required

    This position works out of our Champaign, IL office 8 am - 4:30 pm M-F. There may be an occasional need to work outside those hours during elevated periods for the department.
