Job Description
We are seeking energetic and motivated person for a Self-Storage Consultant position to work at our storage facility in Norwalk, CA. Weekends and Evenings will be required. Ideal candidate is professional, sales orientated, has good customer service, and good communication skills. Must work well with others. Must have reliable transportation.
Office Duties: Primary responsibilities will include showing and renting units to potential tenants, customer service, fielding incoming calls, attracting new customers through marketing, up-selling in the office with other merchandise/goods, tracking payments, completing all paperwork, and make collection calls.
Maintenance duties will include cleaning (including sweeping, moping, wiping down, pressure washing, etc.) units/doors, golf cart, bathroom, office, windows, and around facility; picking up trash; removing weeds; and keeping grounds clean and neat.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent phone skills
Must be computer literate
Self-starter 1-2 years of experience in customer service/retail sales
Prefer someone with the knowledge of using basic power tools (drill, grinder, pressure washer, & leaf blower, etc.)
Must have a flexible schedule
Must pass background check/drug screen (Federal)
Must be a team player
Bilingual is not required, but is a plus
