    Overview

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Engineering Intern to join our team at our facility in Farmington Hills, MI, 48335. As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various engineering projects. This internship will provide valuable insights into the field of engineering and help you develop essential skills for your future career.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in conducting research and analysis to support engineering projects.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and test prototypes.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
    • Contribute to the documentation and reporting of engineering activities.
    • Participate in team meetings and provide input on project progress.
    • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Learn and apply engineering principles and techniques under the guidance of experienced professionals.
    • Complete assigned tasks and projects within given deadlines.
    • Job purpose
    • Provide technical engineering support. Responsible for maintenance and management of technical documents, drawings and engineering database supporting all engineering and business activities.
    • Conduct dimensional measurement and testing
    • Control and manage engineering samples, supplies and stationary
    • Coordinate with other JST facilities if necessary
    • Conduct them self in a professional and friendly manner when interacting with affiliates and suppliers

    Authority

    Employee shall have the below authority after training has been completed and approved

    - Prepare Engineering and Financial documents

    Maintain workstations and building equipment

    Use of laboratory equipment

    • Communicate with JST internal personnel and suppliers

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.
    • Strong academic performance in relevant coursework.
    • Basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
    • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

    • Office Environment

    Occasional travel to affiliate facilities within and outside of the United States
