Job Description
PURPOSE:
Oversight of social media, email channel growth and content development for the purpose of better brand awareness, engagement, and revenue.
OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and implements strategy to grow and improve engagement on organic social media channels.
- Informs content creation program and manages relevant budget to oversee content production as required.
- Manages one direct report to oversee organic email program as managed via Marketo. This includes ideation, creation, distribution, and analysis.
- Maintain email marketing calendar to assess new email requests and provide recommendations on content marketing strategy for the channel.
- Develops analysis program for social growth as it pertains to top and bottom funnel activity.
- Maintain pulse on industry trends and best practices, technologies, competitive landscape, etc. and apply those findings to the organization and marketing campaigns without abandonment of brand standards or target audience demographics.
- Analyze customer behavior and their key characteristics to improve email marketing.
- Produce weekly reports that detail KPIs, results and summary of strategy based on data.
- Provide council and guidance to team and provide coaching, learning opportunities, and professional development as able and as supported by dedicated budget for such purposes.

- Track record of optimizing email and programs and meeting business goals.
- Ability to work independently as well as build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of email and best practices and deliverability as well as analysis
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 Years Marketing Management Experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BS/BA Degree
- HTML & Marketo knowledge
- Travel industry experience
