DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drafting pleadings and motions

• Preparing and responding to meet and confer letters

• Propounding and responding to discovery

• Taking and defending depositions

• Attending mediations

• Interviewing clients and class members

• Making court appearances

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 3 TO 5 YEARS OF WAGE AND HOUR LITIGATION EXPERIENCE

• Assertive personality who is able to thrive in adversarial and contentious litigation environment

• Strong background in legal research with high marks in legal writing course

• Forward-looking with the ability to prioritize assignments, manage workload, and execute tasks

• Effective planning, problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and exercise sound judgement

• Previous employment class action experience is a plus
