    Position Overview

    To coordinate daily production workflow and ensure the on time delivery of high quality mailings.

    Job Responsibilities

    * Oversee daily production processes targeting 100% accuracy and on time delivery for all mailings. Providing status reporting as requested.
    * Serve as primary point of contact for machine operators. Give regular work direction to operators and provide required materials as needed.
    * Preform daily QA checks on mailings; Complete end of the day checklist to ensure all mail/jobs have been delivered
    * Track daily metrics and enter data into tracking database. Data collected should include processing times, incidents/defects, postage usage and premium usage. 
    * Coordinate production workflow: reviewing work request for job specifications, generate work request and communicate to machine operators, determine schedules and priorities, work completion verification. 
    * Identify processing gaps by analyzing output, and recommend improvements to production processes.
    * Identify the strengths and weaknesses of assigned processes and recommend solutions to improve data quality and validation procedures. 
    * Review documentation and provide input on updates needed.
    * Operate machines on production floor as needed to meet production demands.
    * Attend production meetings, review production schedules and create mailing schedules.
    * Perform User Acceptance Testing as needed.
    

    Position Expectations

    * Ability to prioritize responsibilities and coordinate/track a process that is in multiple stages.
    * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate level. This includes the ability to evaluate and manipulate data using appropriate tools and quickly adapt to emerging technology. 
    * Ability to work in a fats-paced production environment and meet tight delivery deadlines.
    * Ability to identify and solve problems within their process autonomously and understand context and impact of business decisions.
    * Must have strong interpersonal skills. 
    * The ability to operate and maintain mailing equipment making minor repairs and adjustments
    * Must be able to follow Post Office Regulations as it applies to mailing and receiving presort discounts.
    * Be involved in projects for the dept.
    * Other duties as assigned
    

    Position Requirements

    * High school diploma required
    * Must have 3 years work experience in a data production or related environment
    * 2-3 years in a direct mail environment preferred
    * Basic knowledge of MS Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
    * Criminal/Driving/Credit background checks required
    

    Physical Requirements

    * Must be able to lift 55+ lbs.
    * Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist and turn
    * Ability to use a phone or headset, computer keyboard
    

    Schedule Requirements

    * Monday - Friday; Day shift 8 AM to 4:30 PM
    * Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
    

    $50,000 - $50,000 a year
