Job Description

• Follows all company policies and works in a safe and efficient manner
• Gathers and loads all furniture, linens, glassware, soft good, etc. from storage warehouses and moves them to the desired locations when events happen
• Maintains look and condition of all furniture, including staining, cleaning, or polishing when needed
• Performs checks of all public areas routinely and cleans, restocks or reports maintenance issues when noticed
• Supports the organization of all storage areas, and support the Warehouse Manager with moving or rearranging said areas
• Removes trash from all public areas, sweeps and clears leaves, and collects discarded items, like glasses and breakfast trays
• Walks property throughout shift to ensure all areas are of pristine appeal
• Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet machine when necessary
• On occasion may need to move or load wine
• Services Inn Rooms for Turndown service at night in the absence of housekeeping
• Helps the room attendants with heavy lifting and special cleaning projects as  directed
• Assists housekeeping with placing bed boards, roll-ways beds, extra bed etc. in appropriate fashion per standard operating procedures.
• Assists with maintaining public areas and items, such as Concierge Patio furnishings, Hammock courtyard, tasting room patio, ISO building, caves and storerooms
• Maintains all exterior fans, heaters (including filling heater propane tanks, etc..) and planters
• Designs and executes a preventative maintenance checklist, and does regular property walks
• Submits work orders for maintenance team on behalf of hospitality as needed
• Assist in set up, tear down and provide support during select events
• In absence of concierge, can assist guest with transportation needs, requests or arranging services
• Handles any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed

Qualifications

• Possession of excellent communication skills
• Possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use a smart phone and submit online forms
• Ability to drive trucks with trailers attached
• Attention to details and good problem-solving skill
• Ability to work both independently and on teams
• Must possess a valid license with an acceptable driving record
• Forklift experience is preferred, but willing to train
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
