Job Description

Our team is looking for a highly-organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated team player to assist in the processing of mortgage loans. This is an entry into a career with the possibility of increased responsibility and earnings depending upon individual desire, potential, and individual growth.

At least 1 year in Title Curative or equivalent work experience is required for this position.

A college education is preferred but not required.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review title commitments and identify issues with vesting and unexpected exceptions;

• Work with partners to update SOR with data findings on commitment;

• Due diligence and fact finding with client, prior servicer, and title attorney;

• Obtain understand and organize various title-related documents;

• Communicate with those parties needed to clear defects on title; and

• Develop relationships with servicers, vendors, and co-workers to facilitate all title curative and clearance issues quickly.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong familiarity with the foreclosure process and legal matters related to real estate, and

• Strong familiarity with title issues and potential resolutions.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Comprehension of real estate contracts/purchase agreements;

• Comprehension of all Title and supporting documents, including judgments, notes, etc.;

• Proficiency with Gmail, Google Sheets, and Adobe;

• Strong communication skills;

• High ethical standards;

• A motivated, positive, team player looking to improve and grow;

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; and

• Ability to problem solve in a growing and expanding business.
