WE ARE SEEKING AN APPRAISALS SPECIALIST TO JOIN OUR TEAM! THE APPRAISAL PROCESS IS PIVOTAL TO THE SUCCESS OF A HOME PURCHASE OR REFINANCE. IT IS OFTEN THE SLOWEST PIECE OF THE PROCESS AND REQUIRES SOMEONE DILIGENT TO GUARANTEE A SUCCESSFUL AND POSITIVE OUTCOME. 

YOU WILL PLAY A CRITICAL ROLE IN AND SHOULD ENJOY WORKING IN A SMALL, "INTRAPRENEURIAL" OFFICE THAT IS PROCESS-FOCUSED, COMMUNITY-ORIENTED, AND MISSION-DRIVEN.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ORDER APPRAISALS AND FOLLOW UP ON THEIR COMPLETION STATUS;

• REVIEW AND ANALYZE APPRAISAL REPORTS FOR HOME VALUE, COMPLETENESS, AND ACCURACY;

• COMMUNICATE WITH BORROWERS REGARDING APPRAISALS AND AUTHORIZATIONS;

• CALCULATE AND ANALYZE LOAN-TO-VALUE RATIO; 

• MAINTAIN AN UPDATED SPREADSHEET FOR APPRAISAL STATUS TRACKING; AND

• DRAFT ARGUMENTS FOR RECONSIDERATION WHEN APPRAISAL IS DEFICIENT.

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE;

• STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS;

• ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE, MULTITASK, AND FOLLOW THROUGH ON PROJECTS AND TASKS;

• STRONG WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS;

• A WILLINGNESS TO LEARN AND ACCEPT AND PROVIDE CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK; AND

• WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND WITHIN A TEAM.
