    Job Description

    This leader will shape and manage a best-in-class marketing organization encompassing our teams responsible for Creative Services, Media, Customer Relations Management (CRM), Communications, Community Management, Direct to Consumer, Insights and Innovation.

    Reporting to our SVP of Marketing and as a member of the Marketing Leadership Team, this senior leader will have P&L accountability and be ultimately responsible for leading 4 direct and 20 indirect team members and delivering on all marketing KPIs, volume and profit objectives. ****

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

    • Lead and mentor the Marketing Services teams, constantly developing and applying best practices, fostering great communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders & external partners
    • Inspire creative excellence & deliver a high volume of output with Creative Managers, Graphics Designers, Videographers and Web professionals
    • Develop innovative omnichannel media plans designed to drive awareness, acquisition, reengagement and revenue
    • With a data-backed approach and being savvy to the latest trends across the advertising landscape, you will collaborate with our brand / product teams to shape our overall media mix
    • Analyze campaign data across our portfolio and present findings to marketing teams and executives
    • Manage budgets for non-title marketing initiatives and external agency partners responsible for supporting our Creative, Media, CRM & Communications initiatives
    • Working across CRM & Community initiatives, ensure the voice of the consumer is heard by marketing teams across our business
    • Provide expertise and strategic guidance across all relevant social media platforms. Communicate the latest trends across the organization and ensure their integration into plans.
    • Champion database growth with a rigorous focus on expanding/optimizing customer touchpoints, securing registration incentives and minimizing churn
    • Identify KPIs and metrics to be used across the organization. Oversee regular reporting on growth, brand health and ROI of key activations.
    • Create customer lifecycle marketing programs to attract, engage, and retain consumers across a family of brands
    • Work closely with Communications / PR teams to successfully support our portfolio of products and corporate branding / messaging initiatives.
    • Oversee Integrated Marketing P&L, forecast; allocate, manage and track brand budgets
    • Cultivate a spirit of innovation by leading insights and innovation that supports our long term growth

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, General Management or equivalent, MBA Preferred

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum 15 year’s proven experience directing a department of marketing professionals at a Vice President level, preferably within the food sector
    • Strong background in digital media, ideally agency (marketing, advertising, management consulting, etc.)
    • Understanding of global media, popular culture and consumer trends. Able to act as a thought leader
    • Experience with media planning / buying tools and using consumer insight to build robust marketing strategies and audience targeting
    • Proven success driving creative innovation and performance across owned, earned and paid channels
    • Strong negotiator with a high level of business acumen
    • Understanding of direct-to-consumer businesses
    • Demonstrated record of success in developing highly creative consumer strategies, mass-market marketing ideas, and direct-to-consumer performance-based marketing
    • Self-motivated, passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced work environment
    • Exercises a high degree of influence and ability to impact team performance of subordinates, managers, peers, outside agencies, and executive management
    • Creative and resourceful thinker with the ability to make decisions and organize thoughts
    • Demonstrated capability of successfully working with senior executives
    • Ability to shape white space opportunities into actionable innovation
    • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of marketing and finance including P & L management
    • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally to lead programs, analyze data and drive results in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and team members
    • Must demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, and team member motivational skills.
    • Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
