    Job Description

    Jack Link’s is seeking an experienced, outdoor adventure focused video and multi-media shooter/editor to join our growing Digital and Social Media content team.

    In this new role, and as a core part of our content production team, you will report to the Sr. Social Media Manager, work closely with the activation team, and be surrounded by a talented creative services, social media, and digital marketing ecosystem.

    The responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

    • Production Planning: Participate in pre-production planning/story board development
    • Videography: Responsible for filming on-set or in the field video capture, as well as still photography, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality assets
    • Editing: collaborate with the brand marketing and social media teams to uphold consistent brand messaging across all social media platforms
    • Travel: Be on-site for select Jack Link’s events to capture content throughout the year
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Animation, or a related field or equivalent

    Required Experience:

    • Five years proven experience as a Video Editor, Motion Graphics Designer, or similar role or closely related field with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
    • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), animation tools (e.g., Adobe Animate, Adobe After Effects), and Adobe Illustrator
    • Experience in motion graphics, kinetic typography, and animated elements to enhance video content and maximize engagement is highly desired
    • Solid understanding of social media platforms, their formats, and best practices for video and animated content
    • Strong creativity and ability to think visually, with an eye for design, composition, and typography. Excellent knowledge visual storytelling, and animation principles
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously for timely delivery of finished content
    • Develop and execute creative concepts for video and photography that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
    • Solid grasp on outdoor and pop culture and how to create/capture relevant content that translates to social and digital media channels
    • Experience in outdoor content production for hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, etc.
    • 20-30% travel to select Jack Link’s events for content capture throughout the year required
    • Must share a portfolio of work that includes longform and shortform video work, branded storytelling, and social-first content that you’ve shot and edited from start to finish

    Preferred:

    The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven portfolio shooting on a variety of equipment including DSLR cameras, iPhone, and other video/photo equipment as needed and be skilled in editing in Premiere Pro and TikTok.
