    Job Description

    JOIN JACK LINK'S AS AN ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL REPORTING INTERN DURING THE SUMMER OF 2023 in downtown Minneapolis, MN or at our headquarters in Minong, WI! As our intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through formal and informal training, managing projects, attending events, networking with fellow interns, and working with key Jack Link’s leaders and team members. At the completion of your internship, you will conduct a final presentation on your internship experience.

    As an Accounting and Financial Reporting Intern within Jack Link’s, you will work closely with the Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting teams, gaining formal and informal training, in the following areas: Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting and Internal Controls.

    Accounting and Financial Reporting Intern responsibilities:

    • Document, design and test internal controls
    • Research and document technical accounting positions
    • Complete various Census filings
    • Perform accounting reviews of accruals to improve general ledger accuracy and back-end processing efficiency
    • Assist in period and quarter-end activities, including general ledger entries, analysis and account reconciliations
    • Support accounts payable with invoice verifications
    • Ad hoc analyses where knowledge of SAP, BPC and other accounting systems will be gained

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Junior year of college
    • Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Global Business Leadership
    • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
    • Team player with a “can do” attitude
    • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills
    • Quick learner
