    Job Description

    JOIN JACK LINK'S AS A PARALEGAL INTERN FOR SUMMER 2021! In this project-based internship, you will work closely within the legal team, gaining formal and informal training in contract review, team up with business partners to provide claim and insurance data as well as work on special projects.

    This internship is based in downtown Minneapolis. 

    Additionally, as part of our Summer Internship Program, you will join several other interns across other departments including sales, operations, marketing and information technology. Our program manager is also planning fun, interactive events as well as the opportunity to travel to our plants to learn about our manufacturing environment.

    Projects may include the following: 

    • CONTRACT REVIEW PROCESS: Assist with contract renewal requests, extension requests, contract termination letters and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
    • COMPLIANCE AUDITS: Work with a team on creating, implementing and tracking document audits related to various compliance matters.
    • LEGAL SUPPORT: Help maintain efficient legal filing and organizational correspondence, reports and meeting materials. File business registrations and similar documents with appropriate state agencies. Provide claim and insurance data as requested from internal business partners as well as coordinate and perform activities for special projects as requested.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • At least 3 years of a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
    • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints 
    • Demonstrated experiences as strong team player in a changing work environment 
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills 
    • Demonstrated basic knowledge of Legal best practices

    Preferred requirements:

    • Major or Minor in business law
