    Job Description

    The Full Stack Mobile/Web Application Developer improves the efficiency of operating information systems by developing and maintaining impactful, user-centric, secure & agnostic integration Web/Mobile applications that engage team member & partners by boosting productivity. The Application Developer will lead and collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Technical Team & Business Process owners across the organization to formulate and maintain a cohesive implementation of the technical solution.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

    • Create the optimum technical solutions in the context of the Jack Link’s environment, requirements, and financial resources
    • Responsible for developing applications based on business requirement specifications, preparing the technical design document, creating prototypes, analyzing and identifying performance bottle-necks, incorporating best practice guidelines.
    • Ensure a quality system design which provides good system performance, an effective human-machine interface, optimal operational cost, and flexibility for future change
    • Responsible to work closely with functional team to understand business requirements and work with Jack Link’s business user to ensure end-to-end scenario delivery.
    • Work as a team player who is willing to collaborate.
    • Responsible for handling incidents and tickets causing service disruption in Jack Link’s landscape and co-ordinate with other Jack Link’s IT team members
    • Resolve all issues reported by Jack Link’s Business users and providing support/assistance for applications developed
    • Provide indirect supervision to employees.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary
  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT preferred.
    • Knowledge in IT and a strong interest in innovative technology.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack application developer or similar role
    • Experience developing Mobile, Web, and desktop applications
    • Familiarity with common application development stacks
    • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
    • Experience with UI/UX Design for Mobile & Web applications
    • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Heroku, Angular, React, Node.js)
    • Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgress, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and Cloud Foundation technologies (e.g. Cloudfare, AWS)
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Great attention to detail
    • Organizational skills
    • An analytical mind
    • Hands-on experience in developing, integrating, and performance tuning of applications developed.
    • Ability to integrate cloud applications with on premise applications and cloud with cloud.
    • Solid understanding of integration approaches, methodologies and tools.
    • Good communication skills are a must with capability to drive requirement gathering workshops.

    PREFERRED:

    • Knowledge and experience in technical estimation related to new dimensional products and offerings and their impact to current state & future technology landscape is preferred.
