    Job Description

    The IT Product Information Management (PIM) Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the PIM platform, optimizing its functionality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product content and presentation.     The IT PIM Administrator is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a corporate PIM platform and related Ecommerce content syndication operations. The role requires:

    • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills

    The IT PIM Administrator is accountable for successfully driving and delivering an enterprise PIM program. This dynamic position will work to identify and remove impediments impacting the team’s ability to deliver scalable, sustainable product content that is shared with numerous retail and distribution partners.

    The role will document requirements, build workflows, and publish reports to ensure all product content requirements are met with quality. Assist in creating implementation plans and delivering defined project outputs on time/schedule.

    The ideal candidate should possess experience implementing PIM and Syndication solutions. The ability to effectively partner, establish/maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, solve problems and provide project status is key.

    The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to:

    1. PIM Program Management : Manage multiple projects and programs from initiation to closure, following the established IT project management methodology and best practices. Define and monitor project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
    2. Stakeholder Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with business sponsors, functional leaders, and key stakeholders. Understand their business needs, expectations, and priorities. Manage expectations and ensure their satisfaction with the PIM and Syndication solutions.
    3. Solution Delivery : Ensure the delivery of high-quality PIM solutions that meet the business requirements and adhere to IT standards and policies. Provide guidance and direction on PIM and DAM best practices, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
    4. Change Management : Support and facilitate the organizational change management activities related to the projects and programs. Promote the adoption and utilization of the PIM and DAM platforms by the end-users. Provide training, documentation, and post-implementation support as needed.
    5. Continuous Improvement : Evaluate and measure the performance and benefits of the PIM and DAM projects and programs. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and optimization of the solutions and processes. Stay abreast of the latest Ecommerce trends, innovations, and best practices. Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary best practices and guidelines. Comfortable planning, presenting, and managing budgets

    Responsibilities: Product Content Management

    1. Govern product content in PIM: Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain accurate and consistent product information for publication across all channels. Ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications meet brand guidelines. Monitor product data quality and promptly address discrepancies.
    2. Drive PIM Imports: Oversee the import process into the PIM, validating data quality and maintaining integrity of the PIM. Coordinate with relevant teams to continuously improve data updates.
    3. Drive the ERP Product Data File export: Work alongside the IT teams so that exported files from ERP contain all required information and meet the requirements for ingestion into the PIM. Validate the ERP data accuracy and completeness.
    4. Own the Nutritional and Claims product data export: Manage the integration of nutritional product data into the PIM from the PLM system and data sources. Verify data consistency and quality.

    Responsibilities: Web Content Management and Syndication

    1. Manage product feed from PIM to Websites: Collaborate with the Website Admin and establish a reliable process for product data from the PIM to be fed to company websites. Monitor data synchronization and troubleshoot issues.
    2. Build and maintain different product types in PIM: Build and maintain product information at different packaging levels (i.e. cases, eaches, inners, etc.) and virtual product types (e.g. configurable) for use bin various contexts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product attributes and data needs for different websites.
    3. Build and maintain product data feeds to Retailers: Build direct connections, templated exports or standard exports to best provide product content to retailers. Collaborate with relevant sales teams to optimize the process including maintaining the latest templates and data standards. Ensure accurate content syndication to major retailers.
    4. GDSN and GS1: Ensure that data in PIM provides current and accurate GDSN content at all levels and compliant with related GS1 standards. Facilitate smooth data exchange between platforms.
    5. Facilitate Ingestion of new Digital Assets: Collaborate with creative teams to ingest high-quality digital assets.

    You will work with:

    • Master Data Management Team: Owners of core ERP data, and partners for data feeds and requirements. Owners of the GDSN Data publication process.
    • Regulatory Team: Owners of the PLM platform and owners of nutritional data
    • IT BI Team and SAP HANA teams: Owners of the SAP export containing GDSN data, packaging hierarchy and core product data including transformations of the exports for ingestion into PIM and Syndication systems.
    • Website Administrators: Partners to setup products and manage their content and status on company websites.
    • Sales Teams: account managers for retailers who gather and populate import files for their ecommerce systems
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business or equivalent experience
    • 4+ years of experience in an CPG information systems environment
    • 3+ years PIM and Ecommerce Syndication platforms including Salsify, Syndigo, 1WorldSync and Shopify
    • Product data management experience in eCommerce platforms, especially Magento
    • Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP including material data and BOM records
    • Experience with Digital Asset Management platforms such as Bynder and WebDAM
    • Experience with Digital Shelf Analytics tools and providers such as Profitero, Salsify, Stackline and through marketplace seller admin portals.
    • Data manipulation and transformation tools such as Excel, Power Query and visualization tools such as Power BI
    • Ability to influence stakeholders and external partners
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
