    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The estate planning paralegal assists the attorneys in the estate planning department with all aspects of estate planning including, but not limited to, client intake, basic drafting, deed recording and other similar functions. The estate planning paralegal should communicate with clients and attorneys to ensure that all of the above is completed in an efficient and timely manner.

    The estate planning paralegal should prioritize client contact and communication. Clients should always know what stage of the planning process we are in, and what needs to be done next. The estate planning paralegal should be proactive in making sure that clients complete their estate planning within six weeks from the time they retain our services.

    Job duties would include, but are not limited to:

    • Screen new client inquiries and schedule initial consults:

    • Draft fee agreements for new EP clients

    • Draft initial estate planning documents.

    • Client communication.

    • Signing meeting assistance.

    • Coordinate recordation of real property documents.

    • Preparation of closing letters to clients and file maintenance.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum three years of direct paralegal experience.
    • Minimum of two years experience in estate planning.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Judicial Council forms and Outlook.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Compensation:

    $65,000 - $85,000+ DOE and certifications
