    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We're looking for a self-motivated, team player that excels in supporting others and does so with a strong degree of organizational skill and attention to detail. Our fast-paced law practice is seeking a full-time legal intake specialist to join our team! You'll survey prospective clients and empathize with them on the details of their case, manage new client onboarding and data entry, and help our lawyers book and manage their appointments. We'll provide the training and resources to help you flourish in your role on a tight-knit, supportive, and passionate legal team. If you have prior customer service experience, great communication skills, and a passion for helping others, this is a great opportunity.

    The intake specialist works closely with the firm's attorney staff and are trained in case screen techniques, making this the ideal role for someone interested in the legal field

    The intake specialist works as the initial point of contact for the firm.  You will work with prospective clients, current clients, and non-client callers, playing a vital role in the initial screening of the prospective clients and providing on-going quality customer service to our existing clients

    LEGAL INTAKE SPECIALIST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    ● Evaluate prospective client inquiries and phone calls, analyzing their case fit and making sure they feel seen and heard.

    ● Supervise new client onboarding and current client files through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently.

    ● Liaising between clients and staff.

    ● Connect with prospective clients by actively listening and asking the right questions to understand the caller's incident and injuries

    ● Thoroughly and compassionately gather the pertinent information required for the case evaluation

    ● Manage a high call volume while providing an outstanding client experience

    ● Initiate, build and maintain thorough client files in the database as a part of the client onboarding experience

    ● Demonstrate the ability to effectively and thoroughly complete multiple tasks simultaneously

    ● Exhibit strong time management by prioritizing competing tasks

    ● Effectively communicate, verbally and written, with prospective clients, the attorneys evaluating the potential case, and internal team members

    ● Collaborate with the marketing team to track incoming leads

    ● Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed, including transcription, research, spreadsheet management, and email writing to ensure operational efficiency.

    ● Other duties as assigned by attorneys or management team.

    LEGAL INTAKE SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS

    ● 2+ years of law firm experience required.

    ● Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.

    ● Previous personal injury experience preferred.

    ● Possesses outstanding communication skills and sense of empathy.

    ● Solid data entry, spreadsheet management, and computer skills.

    ● Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

    ● Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls effectively.

    ● Highly organized with excellent follow up skills.

    ● Strong attention to detail and high level of organizational skills.

    ● Self-motivated and driven.

    ● Proactive and a desire to help.

    ● Effective time management and attention to deadlines.

    ● Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
