Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large data sets of water monitoring records and water quality modeling.
- Configuring, calibrating, or applying water quality models from large scale data sets.
- Spend an extensive amount of time on working with our software platform, modeling data and deriving insights.
- The Research Analyst will work closely with other members of the Research and Development team to generate high-quality research for different projects.
- Generate reports and prepare presentations on the current state of research and other parallel projects.
Skills
- Ability to performs data analysis, interpretation, annotation, cleaning, transformation, reduction, discretization, and formatting.
- Experience in developing and using various models for water quality monitoring and management.
- Experience in the Analysis and Interpretation of Epidemiological Data is a plus.
- Expertise in statistics, data processing, or data annotation.
- Attention to detail and excellent skills in record keeping/ documentation. Critical thinking and the ability to analyze data.
- Working knowledge and skills in a statistical programming platform (e.g. R, Matlab, Stata, Python).
- Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and collaborate effectively with other team members. Eagerness and ability to learn and understand new concepts with ease.
Requirements:
- Minimum of MSc in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, Chemistry, Statistics, or Data Science fields with more than two years of experience in analyzing large scale data sets.
- Experience in spatial analysis and knowledge of GIS approaches is a plus.
