The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is responsible for mental health management of an assigned caseload of patients. The position collaborates with the Medical Director.

In this role, you will:

• Provide mental health care to indigent primary care patients.
• Provide consultation to the nurses and clinical staff.
• Consult with medical director regarding work performance of nurse practitioners and nurses.
• Consult with other staff physicians and para-medical personnel regarding medical management of patients and quality of medical and diagnostic work performed.
• Confer with medical director on management issues.
• Confer on the planning and direction of the primary care team as it relates to the physician’s specialty.
• Participate in medical and services utilization audits, peer review and quality assurance activities.

Must possess and maintain an appropriate license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Ability to travel to local health centers as needed, but may consider tele-health instead.

Can work out of Long Beach area, Hawthorne, Carson or Wilmington areas.

Salary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
