    Our client, a rapidly growing medical device company is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician, who will provide support to the overall operations in Coral Springs. The incumbent will be responsible for the preventative maintenance program of all our manufacturing operation per our Quality Manual, ISO 13485, FDA, and other regulatory agencies standards. This is an opportunity to get in the ground floor of an exciting company dedicated to save patients lives!

     

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Keep equipment operational by conducting preventive maintenance per schedules.
    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
    • Perform general maintenance to keep machinery clean and operational.
    • Report unsafe conditions and mitigate as possible.
    • Perform lock out tag out procedures.
    • Complete minor repairs and maintenance as instructed.
    • Attend training and safety sessions as required.
    • Check and respond to security and safety issues.
    • Develop an in-house CPR program.
    • Perform minor quality check on air conditioning filters, pluming and electric systems.
    • Coordinate schedules pest control vendor.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

     

    Requirements:

    • Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
    • 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment as Facilities Maintenance Technician.
    • Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to multi-task in a lean company environment, where responsibilities tend to encompass more than the job title would indicate.
    • Able to develop and maintain mutually respectful, cooperative working relationships with co-workers, customers and suppliers while promoting a positive company image.
    • Experienced in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills. Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
    • Effective problem-solving abilities.
