    Head of Brand Protection and Security


    Overview:


    Our client is an international non-profit 501(c)(6), member driven consortium, which is dedicated to the integrity of the pharmaceutical supply chain and patient safety. They client accomplishes this through member consortium working groups, education, and our unique Joint Audit Program®. We are seeking a Sr. Director Supply Chain Integrity and Security. This role would report directly to the CEO and routinely interact with the consortium members who are focused in this area. This subject matter expert would lead the growth of our mission that surrounds pharmaceutical supply chain integrity and security, through member interaction, industry knowledge and education, as well as building collaborative-based relationships.


    Position Expectations:


    • · This role would require a basis understanding of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) and the Falsified Medicines Directive requirements. The candidate will need to have the ability to communicate proactively with any updates, and change rationale, as well as answer implementation questions.
    • · The client is a member driven consortium, our membership includes pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers. This role would require that the candidate has the ability to work within that consortium model and understand how each member organization establishes operations and best practices in the area of supply chain security and brand protection.
    • · Ability to foster relationships with the FDA as well as regulatory agencies throughout the world.
    • · Understanding serialization both globally and domestically, and how it impacts the security of the pharmaceutical supply chain.
    • · This role would ask the candidate to have the ability collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate data associated with the pharmaceutical supply chain, its standards, and regulations.
    • · This position would need to be able to show the ability to understand pharmaceutical supply chain logistics regarding border security, importation, and export opportunities and challenges. This would also include being able to build out a knowledge base for the consortium around cross-border trade specific to pharmaceuticals.

       

      Additional Skills and Requirements:


    • · This role will require the interpersonal and organizational skills to communicate effectively and clearly to the clients membership as well as lead all our consortium working groups focused on supply chain security.
    • · The candidate will need to be able to be a peer leader and team player for all department.

      This would include the audit program as well as membership development and engagement.

    • · A four-year college/university degree
    • · Previous experience (1-3 years at a minimum) working with a pharmaceutical manufacturer or supplier, with a focus on supply chain security and/or brand protection.
    • · Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, and ability to learn Salesforce.com, and PowerBI software applications.
    • · Previous experience in presenting and public speaking.
