    What You'll Be Doing

    • Develop and implement sales plans to meet revenue targets, focusing on outbound prospecting efforts and lead generation.
    • Identify and research potential clients across various sectors, including academia, bio/pharma, and biotech industries.
    • Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting updates and insights into revenue opportunities.
    • Execute effective sales strategies to close deals, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth within assigned accounts.
    • Maintain strong communication and engagement with clients through regular follow-ups and relationship-building activities.

     

    About You

    • Be able to do the job as described.
    • Bachelor’s degree in life science preferred.
    • 3+ years of sales and business development experience in biotech research sequencing markets.
    • Strong relationships within Pharma, biotech, and academic research organizations.
    • Confident, energetic "Hunter" mentality with a desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships.
    • Highly adaptable and independent, thrives in a startup environment.
    • Ability to travel up to 30%.
