Hi Everyone, I'm looking for a reliable baby sitter for roughly four hours a day for my lovely one-year-old daughter starting in March. We are looking for care between 4-5 days a week with weekends off. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, this job could take place on the UCSD Scripps campus when you could take her to the aquarium or watch her in my office while I teach. The daily schedule can be negotiable in terms of end and start times, aside from the times I am teaching on Tuesdays and Thurdays. On the three (or two remaining days) care would take place at my home in the Village of La Jolla (an approximately 30-minute bus ride from campus). Aside from the times I am teaching, I will be present at home (but just working in another room in case you need help). In terms of care, I am really looking for someone who can play with her (she really loves being read to, having some one play her singing games and play with toys) and the occasional diaper change, feeding her a small snack. If the baby happens to be sleeping, I'm hoping the person could just help out with a few light household tasks like watching her sleep while I shower, or helping load the dishwasher/cut a few veggies/ doing a quick grocery run. I'm looking for someone who can provide references from a previous job.
