    JOB TITLE: Maintenance B

    DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

    REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

    SUMMARY: Assists with repairing a broad range of mechanical problems, preventative maintenance, general building maintenance and custodial work. This is a 2nd shift Position.

    Hours would be Monday-Friday 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

    Fabricating skills is a must, machining and fabricating parts using drawings, sketches and prints by others.

    Maintains technical knowledge, by reading machine specifications and attending classes if needed.

    Assist in the installation and removal of equipment. Help determine changes needed in equipment driven by production.

    Helps design and build equipment and fixtures.

    Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

    Perform die building and repair parts using all machine shop equipment including lathes and milling.

    Basic Electrical skills required.

    Must have basic maintenance tools.

    Must be dependable and able to work flexible schedules.

    Must be able to perform preventative maintenance on wide range of equipment including Extruders, Laminators and Injection Molding Machines, as well as building maintenance.

    Perform all other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the company

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Fork Truck License and Basic Electric Certificate
