    The Role:

    We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Team of Prep Cooks. The Prep Cook is the foundation for each dish that is delivered. They work with precision and demonstrate a high level of respect for the ingredient and the process. They are the ambassadors for the recipe and execute with excellence every shift. Your responsibilities will include:

    Managing food production and upholding the integrity of the recipe.

    Verifying quality product based on the ingredients, spec lists, and recipe.

    Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and product, following all brand standard procedures.

    Assist with event prep and execution.

    Maintains a clean and organized station.

    Maintain a positive and professional approach with the team and communicates effectively.

    Ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.

    Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive regarding the front of the house and back of the house safety (food safety, potential hazards for employees or Guests)

    Who We're Looking For:

    The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

    Previous experience as a prep cook, line cook, or similar role is expected. (Experience with smoked meats is a bonus!)

    Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

    The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.

    Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state, and local regulations.

    Exceptional culinary skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.

    Requirements:

    Food service experience in a high-volume environment required (1-2 years)

    Participate in Food Safety training. ServSafe certification is a plus.

    Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

    Interested in a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

    Confident with technology and point of sales systems (KDS).

    Willing to learn and grow in the role.
