Jake’s & Cooper’s Wine Bar & Wine Shop (jakesandcoopers.com) is seeking a full-time Manager.

Jake’s & Cooper’s Wine Bar & Wine Shop is located in the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. We are a classic restaurant serving sustainable New American fare in a rustic setting and a wine shop featuring handpicked wine labels from around the world.

The ideal candidate has a guest-first mentality, great leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and is team-oriented. Your demeanor is calm and friendly. You lead by example.

Position:

• Service Manager

Compensation:

• $60K salary commensurate with experience (50 hours a week)
• $25 hourly (40 hours a week)
• Bonus pay
• PTO

Expertise sought:

• 5 years previous restaurant experience in a high volume fine casual or upscale casual restaurant is preferred
• Previous Bartender, Server, and Manager experience
• P & L management (maintaining food costs, maximizing profitability)
• Ordering, receiving, and inventory
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Wine Knowledge (certification preferred)
• Staff education, training, and motivation
• Staff scheduling
• Enforcing policies and procedures
• Managing 10-15 people
