    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Oversees tasks associated with the maintenance of production equipment and related systems.
    • Responsible for generating and owning annual maintenance budget.
    • Generates and provides structured advanced training for all maintenance personnel.
    • Coordinates and drives predictive maintenance program.
    • Serves as technical expert in support of all company maintenance entities across the organization.
    • Oversees and directs spare parts program to ensure budgeted up-time.
    • Conducts root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements fixes.
    • Coordinates preventative maintenance with the production planning staff.
    • Receives and reviews requests for maintenance and prioritizes maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources.
    • Inspects equipment regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs; recommends equipment upgrades or modifications to improve performance or reliability.
    • Maintains records and documentation related to equipment and manpower usage.
    • Manages the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors or subcontractors.

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • 4-year degree in Technical or Engineering program preferred, prior experience in manufacturing operations required. 
    • 5-8 years directly supervising maintenance personnel.

     

  • Qualifications
    • Understanding of critical path method scheduling*
    • Basic working knowledge of CPM scheduling applications, including Primavera and Microsoft Project scheduling software*
    • Able to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and scopes of work
    • Decision making, research and analytical problem solving skills*
    • Time management with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands, and to work independently*
    • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organization*
